Agsafe is seeking a Stewardship Field Officer to provide senior field leadership to deliver their national training, certification, and quality assurance programs. The role champions the regional rollout of the drumMUSTER and bagMUSTER stewardship initiatives in the Victoria region. This position is central to upholding Agsafe’ s standards through assessment delivery, regional presence, and stakeholder engagement.

About You
We are keen to hear from you if you are:A self-starter, who enjoys engaging stakeholders across government and commercial sectors
Experienced in training/education, WHS and or audits
Able to demonstrate ability to develop and maintain commercial relationships
Qualified in Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment or equivalent (or willingness to obtain), and/or have a Lead Auditor Certificate (or equivalent)
Willingness to travel across your region with regular nights away from home
Affinity or passion for agriculture

We are seeking an organised and motivated MUSTER Program Assurance Coordinator to join our Canberra team and play a key role in supporting the delivery of Agsafe's nationally recognised stewardship programs, with a primary focus on developing and coordinating key program assurance activities, designed to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the MUSTER stewardship programs. Additionally, the role also supports the coordination of ChemClear collections across Australia.

About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager – MUSTER Programs, you will coordinate the development and implementation of key program assurance activities ensuring continued effective delivery of Agsafes stewardship programs ChemClear, drumMUSTER and bagMUSTER.
Providing independent oversight of revenue declarations processes, collection site inspection and processor collections fees, program delivery risks and program risk management and legal compliance.
You will also coordinate the delivery of the ChemClear program across Australia, ensuring unwanted agricultural and veterinary chemicals are safely collected, transported and disposed of in accordance with regulatory and program requirements. Working closely with contractors, transport providers, industry stakeholders, government agencies and internal teams, you'll ensure collections are well planned, efficiently delivered and supported by accurate reporting and exceptional customer service.
This is a diverse role where no two days are the same—combining operational coordination, stakeholder engagement, logistics and program administration.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
Coordinate the development and implementation of key program assurance activities ensuring continued effective delivery of Agsafe's stewardship programs.
Providing independent oversight of the stewardship programs revenue declarations processes, collection site inspection and processor collections fees, program delivery risks and program risk management and legal compliance.
Coordinate ChemClear collection programs including scheduling, logistics, and delivery.
Manage client registrations, applications, and communications.
Liaise with contractors, transport providers, and disposal partners to coordinate collections.
Support planning and scheduling of ChemClear campaigns and collection rounds.
Monitor program progress and support resolution of operational issues.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client registrations, inventories, and collection data.
Ensure data integrity to support reporting, compliance, and audit requirements.
Maintain documentation, templates, and procedures relating to assurance activities and operations.
Build effective relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Provide guidance on ChemClear processes and requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to support program delivery.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Muster Programs.
Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and program delivery.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
An excellent communicator who enjoys building relationships.
Experienced in assurance, risk management, or program/project governance.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Confident working with databases, reporting systems and Microsoft Office.
Proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and supporting environmental outcomes.
Experience within agriculture, environmental services, waste management, logistics or chemical stewardship will be highly regarded but is not essential.
